Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Tradingjournal is a personal trading journal. This page explains, in plain words, what we keep and why.
What we collect
- Your Google profile: your name, email address and profile picture, when you sign in with Google. We use them to show who you are and to keep your journal separate from everyone else’s.
- Your journal: the trades, notes, journal entries and settings that you type in.
We do not collect your Google password, and we cannot see your Google account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How it is stored
Your journal is saved in your browser and in a private database on Cloudflare, so it can follow you between your devices. Only you, signed in, can read your journal.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share your data.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not give your trades to other users.
Your control
- Export: Settings → Export trades (CSV) gives you a copy of your trades at any time.
- Delete: Settings → Delete my account & data permanently removes your journal and sign-in session from our database and from your device.
Third parties
Sign-in is provided by Google (Google Identity Services). Hosting and storage are provided by Cloudflare. Their own privacy policies apply to the data they handle.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change.
